Kirkby Stephen is on the A685 between Kendal and Brough, easily accessible from the M6 (J38) and A1(M) (turn off on to the A66 towards Brough and Penrith at Scotch Corner).
Kirkby Stephen Station is on the Settle to Carlisle railway and mainline stations at Oxenholme, Darlington and Northallerton are within easy reach.
Manchester Airport (via M6) and Teeside Airport (via A66) are also easily accessible.
The Coast to Coast footpath, River Eden, countryside walks, the poetry path and Nine Standards Rigg are all within walking distance of Redmayne House
